All Ages Activities

Reno Aces VS Salt Lake Bees

Take Dad Out to the Ballgame

Bring Dad to Greater Nevada Field for a Father’s Day celebration on June 16th, featuring an on-field catch session. It’s also Family Sunday, which means $1 hot dogs, and kids run the bases after the game. The Reno Aces will take the field in red “city pride” uniforms, and guests are encouraged to wear red to the game. Tickets are on sale now through the Aces website.

Great Day for Gearheads

If your Dad loves cars, the National Automobile Museum may be the best place to take him this Father’s Day. Take a guided tour or walk through the museum at your own pace, marveling at the relics of streets past. Check out their Champion Vehicles collection, hosting race winners and record-breaking vehicles. Peruse through their Cars of the Stars exhibit and see the cars driven by celebrities. Give you and your family plenty of time to explore the museum, there’s a lot of ground to cover.

Backyard Fun by the River

Looking to get out of the house, have some food, and enjoy fun in the sun? The EDDY has you covered with pizza, craft beers, and free yard games, or bring your own food and have a picnic. Play some Cornhole, Connect 4, Bocce, or Jenga, and have an absolute blast. Kids are welcome during daytime hours, and dogs are welcome (as long as they remain well-behaved). Treat the whole family to a nice day out on the river.

Still Puzzled?

If you have a Dad who loves taking charge and showing his wit, consider taking him to Puzzle Room Reno and put the whole family’s brains to the test. Choose from five themed rooms and escape in 60 minutes, immerse yourself in the story, and prove you have what it takes. Book a family-friendly room, allowing your child to develop critical thinking skills. The challenge will be a nice change of pace over another lazy Sunday.

An Activity Right on Target

Reno Axe & Social hosts a variety of activities and games for Dad to enjoy. Anyone 10 and over can throw axes at their lanes. Worry not parents, safety procedures and rules are set to guarantee everyone has a safe experience throwing axes. You’ll find activities such as ping pong, pool, and connect-4 basketball, however, these are only available in the bar area.
